iMac Pro External USB C SSD-Fast Write, slower read

Hello,



I just bought an iMac Pro and am trying to add some external storage. I bought two 2TB Micron 1100 SSDs, and put them into a MiniPro RAID V3 USB 3.1 enclosure running at RAID 0.

Benchmarking via Blackmagic Speed Test, I see 840mb/s write speed, but only 560mb/sec read speed for a 1GB file.

The read speeds seem slow to me based on other benchmarks I've seen. Is there something wrong with me setup?
